Celebrating Five Years Serving Sioux Falls
We celebrated five years of serving Sioux Falls by giving away $5 to customers at two coffee shops and holiday shoppers at the mall. And three lucky winners were drawn for our $500 giveaway. Thank you for making us a part of the community, Sioux Falls!
Custer Financial Challenges Food Drive Success
Another successful year of the Custer Financial Challenges Food Drive is in the books! BHFCU contributed $400 (plus another $50 from members!) and collected 22 pounds of food.
Illuminating Lives in Rapid City and Sturgis
We got into the holly-jolly spirit during December! BHFCU staff dreamed up and built a float covered in bright lights and participated in holiday parades in Rapid City and Sturgis!
Capital Area United Way Donation
Between staff pledges and a corporate donation, our Pierre team raised $2,179.36 for the Capital Area United Way! The organization supports 35 programs and services offered in Hughes and Stanley counties.
Supporting Sioux Falls Cares
Our Sioux Falls team played Santa with Sioux Falls Cares! They helped spread the holiday spirit by delivering essentials and gifts to those in need, plus made a $500 donation.
Salvation Army Angel Tree Wishes Fulfilled
Another year of fulfilling wishes is under our belt! Our Rapid City crew and members pulled out all the stops, purchasing 150 gifts to help brighten the holidays of many in our community.
Celebrating 5th & Minnesota Opening with Big Prizes
Our 5th & Minnesota location is open! To celebrate, we held a drawing for a $500 winner! Alan J. not only won big, but he also selected our $5,000 non-profit winner – the Black Hills Humane Society!
Festive Christmas Sweater Contest for a Good Cause
Who doesn’t love a good festive sweater? The Friday before the holidays, our staff had the option to don their favorite holiday apparel as a part of our annual Festive Sweater Contest benefiting the Banquet in Sioux Falls. We raise $750!
Meals on Wheels Donation
Thanks to the generosity of BHFCU staff and members, we raised $1,600 for Meals on Wheels Western South Dakota through their Gingerbread Man program!
