BHFCU Gives Back - October 2023
At BHFCU, our commitment to improving lives in the communities we serve is as strong as ever. Learn more about the positive things our team accomplished in October.
Focusing on Kids Health & Wellness
In 2023, we are refocusing our staff-led charitable giving program, the Community Action Team (CAT.) Each month follows a theme with multiple organizations benefiting. In October, we focused on supporting Kids Health & Wellness. Check out what we accomplished!
Who We Supported
This month we supported several statewide resources including Children’s Miracle Network, Ronald McDonald House, the Children’s Home Society, and the Autism Society of the Black Hills. BHFCU staff raised a total of $3,600 for the organizations!
Warming up with a Soup & Chili Eat-in
Hot soup on a cold day? We’re not complaining! During an October cold snap, we held our annual soup and chili eat-in. All locations were encouraged to have a potluck. For a free-will donation, staff could partake in as many delicious items as they liked.
Getting Spooky for a Good Cause
Did you stop by a location on Halloween and see our crew in costume? Our 5th Annual Halloween Costume Contest was a hit! For a $5 donation, any BHFCU team member could wear their favorite costume to work. What better way to raise money for children’s charities than dressing in costume? With 20+ entries from groups of all sizes, it was tough to pick the top three.
Check back in December to see what our crew accomplished in November!
