Black Hills FCU Employees Give Back This April

BHFCU continues to find ways to improve lives in our community. We are focused on supporting organizations across South Dakota who are providing resources to those in need.

On April 20, we donated $1000 to the Capital Area United Way COVID-19 Community Response & Recovery Fund of Pierre. These funds will be used to help local families and nonprofit organizations in the Pierre area who are affected by COVID-19.
We purchased over 280 KN95 masks on April 24, 2020, and donated them to the Children’s Home Society of South Dakota.  These masks were distributed between the Children’s Inn in Sioux Falls and the Children’s Home in Rockerville, SD.
BHFCU employees donated $559 to the Ronald McDonald House, who keeps families with sick children together and near the care and resources they need. This money was raised by collecting pop tabs throughout the year, accompanied by staff Jeans Day funds.
We continue to support our members and communities, knowing that if we work together, we can and will improve lives. If you are interested in helping support local, charitable organizations and causes, you can get involved through our Black Hills FCU Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
