Taking action to improve our neighbors' lives

Our passion for community service is backed by the Black Hills FCU Charitable Fund, a 501(c)(3) formed in 2010 to provide financial support for our work. To contribute to the fund or learn more, contact Heidi Bulman at 605.858.6155.

We're a South Dakota credit union that steadfastly believes in the credit union motto, "people helping people," and we constantly seek opportunities to lift up our communities and neighbors. Our Community Action Team includes employees who selflessly dedicated time, money and resources to our worthy causes. Check out what's keeping us busy these days.

Our employees are raising fund for the ALS Association, whose mission is to provide education, support groups, access to care and advocacy to people living with ALS and their families.

Domestic Violence Shelters

Other Charitable Organizations

With support from BHFCU's members, our employee-led Community Action Team contributes to and volunteers with more than 60 local, charitable organizations. Here are some of the great non-profits we've partnered with over the last year.

Jeans Days

The BHFCU School Supply Drive is part of The Charitable Fund’s effort to give all kids in our communities an equal opportunity to succeed in school.

The Charitable Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization and recognized as a tax exempt public charity by the IRS. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
