Here's what you need to know

We have completed the upgrades to our software and service technologies. Our staff is working hard to ensure the transition to our new system goes as smoothly as possible for members. We appreciate your continued patience and understanding as we adjust to the changes in our technology.  See below for more about specific services and contact us with additional questions.

General Information

  • All locations closed Saturday, September 1
  • Plan ahead and make deposits, withdrawals, and/or loan payments prior to, or following, the holiday weekend
  • Access available funds after 6 p.m. on Friday, August 31 by BHFCU Debit or Credit Card, Check, or ATM

Business Members

  • The same downtime applies
  • Starting September 4, all BHFCU checks will be cleared at the time of deposit and checks with insufficient funds will be returned to you right away
  • Please allow more time to process and deposit multiple checks going forward
  • Images for checks processed prior to September 1 will not be viewable in online banking but BHFCU can print check images as needed


  • EZ Check (debit) cards will work over the weekend
  • BHFCU Visa Credit Cards will work as normal over the weekend
  • Account balances as of 6 p.m. Friday, August 31 will be used for spending over the weekend

Shared Branching

  • Shared Branching will be unavailable after 1:30 pm Friday, August 31 and will not be available again until Tuesday, September 4

Online/Mobile Banking

  • Online Banking and the BHFCU Mobile App will be unavailable beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 31. Normal operation will resume by Tuesday, September 4
  • Your username and password will still work when the system comes back up
  • Scheduled Bill Pays and Transfers will occur as normal
  • Members using Direct Connect with Quicken or QuickBooks will need to reconnect to their BHFCU accounts after September 7
  • Members with External (Account-to-Account) Transfers will need to reestablish a connection after September 3


  • QuickTeller will be all new on Tuesday, September 4
  • Still access through 605-343-1677 or 800-660-3224
  • Primary members will need their Member Number and Social Security Number for first access and to set up a new PIN
  • Listen carefully as menu options have changed


  • Withdraw cash as normal over the weekend
  • ​Deposits made at an ATM after 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 31 will not be available until upgrades are complete
