Black Hills FCU Employee Honored as a 2019 Credit Union Rock Star
Black Hills Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Credit Union Magazine has named Renae Hicks, learning and performance manager at BHFCU, as a 2019 Credit Union Rock Star.
A prestigious distinction honoring 50 outstanding credit union professionals and volunteers from across the county, Rock Stars are nominated and selected based on their exceptional creativity, innovation and passion for advancing their credit union’s mission. The Magazine’s editorial team recognized Hicks for her insightful approach to developing a “world-class service” sales training program for BHFCU.
“Whether I’m leading a training or developing new curriculum, my goal is to better prepare BHFCU’s employees to serve our members’ financial needs,” Hicks said. “Equipping our employees with the skills and knowledge they need to provide outstanding service to our members ensures the growth and success of BHFCU and, most importantly, fulfills our mission to improve lives.”
Hicks began her career at BHFCU more than 19 years ago. Following positions as a teller, loan officer and learning and performance specialist, she was promoted to learning and performance manager at BHFCU in 2016.
“The passion, leadership and creativity that Renae brings to her role every day has been invaluable to BHFCU,” said Holly Jones, chief administrative officer at BHFCU. “Her approach to training and coaching has helped cultivate our employees’ passion for service and advanced the cooperative spirit of the credit union.”
